Describing 2D Shapes

As part of our unit on Shape & Space, today we spent time describing and sorting 2D shapes based on their attributes.  Attributes might describe the number of sides the shape has or the number of corners (vertices), for example.  In partners, the students used 2D shapes to figure out sorting rules.
