Grade 2 Writing

We talked today about using the 5Ws to add more to our writing. We also reviewed the conventions we know including periods, uppercase, and reading our own writing to see if it makes sense. After discussing something they did on the weekend, I sent them off to do their first entry in their journal. Well, we have lots of work to do to get them back in the swing of writing!  It will take us some time and practice, but we will get there!
