Days, Months, Years....How are they related to learning about the solar system?

The earth rotates around once every day.  The earth orbits around the sun in a year.  The moon orbits around the earth every month.  To illustrate this, Brooke was the Sun.  She stayed still.  Dylan was the Earth.  He not only spun around, but also rotated around Brooke!  Then we added in our moon, Kara.  She had to rotate around Dylan as he rotated around Brooke.  Let's just say it was lots of fun!
