Halloween Fun!

We had a very full day today.....Sight word Bingo, Halloween art, pumpkin investigation, special snacks, and making playdoh!  Woah. 

Counting Coins

We have been practicing counting coins.  We should be able to count dimes, nickels, and pennies.  Some of us can also count quarters. 
One fun activity that we did was finding the value of our name.  I also challenged some students to find the value of other words.  They took on the challenge and did amazing work. 
Please continue practicing this important skill at home.

Work on Writing

During work on writing, one of the things students can choose to do is card making.  It has to include writing though as that is what we are practicing!
