Spiders and Charlotte's Web

As we began reading together the novel Charlotte's Web, we also learned some information about spiders. 
First, we recorded what we think we know about spiders. 
Then, we read the first chapter of Charlotte's Web.  We talked about who the characters are and what the settting is. 
As we read the book, we will be checking for understanding.  Who?  What?  When?  Where?
